Judson: Six Months!

Folks, I'm a week late on my post, but this past week has been a doosy! We went to Mimi and Pops last weekend and I got to meet Uncle Andrew, we had to go up to Huntsville for a doctor's appointment for dad, and then three days later we were back up in Huntsville at Gigi and Papa's to visit with the whole family. We celebrated my cousin, Emery's, third birthday, watched some fireworks, went to a Worlund family reunion, visited West Huntsville, and then headed back down to the Plains. And THAT was just SINCE I turned six months, folks.

In my sixth month, I took my first ever plane ride to the good 'ole US of A. I was a champ. I slept about 11 hours of the 12 hour plane ride. Uncle Yossi and Aunt Jamie were on the flight with us:) Mom and Dad finally got chick-fil-a when we landed in Philly...they were pretty excited about that.
The two short plane rides were a little harder on this little man, but I survived...and so did Mom and Dad:)

When we landed, we had lots a family waiting on us. We spent a few days in Huntsville, a few days in Chelsea, and then headed off to the Plains for dad to begin his studying for the USMLE. Since being in Auburn, I have gotten to meet lots of great people! We have spent time with many of Mom and Dad's dear friends and gotten to see lots of family. The Lord has been very gracious to our family to surround us with so many fine folks:)

I have learned to sit up, to scoot around, and I am eating solid foods! So far, I like avocados, zucchini, carrots, and cereal! I also really like to play in the walker. It's been a pretty big growing month for this guy!

Here is my last month in pictures!

Judson: Five Months!

Five months have flown by! It's hard to believe that in less than TWO weeks I'll be flying for the first time, on my way to the US. I can hardly wait! This last month has been pretty busy! Oh, the places we have gone and the faces we haven seen...

There were a lot of birthdays to celebrate this month! I attended my first birthday party...my friend Simon turned one and we got to celebrate with him! I didn't get to enjoy the cake, but I did enjoy the company:) It was Miss Laurel's birthday too, we celebrated at Black Burger. I was really good up until about eight o'clock...Ethan and Toby had their birthday at the pool. It was my first pool experience, and I quite liked it. It took some getting used to, and I wasn't a huge fan of being splashed, but I think I could get used to whole pool thing (can't wait to swim in Gigi's pool this Summer)!

We also had a retreat with many of Dad's classmates. We stayed in B7 and rotated between several different homes. I got to hear Dad teach, and it was great:) We had a really fun time. Mom and Dad said I was a champ the whole weekend!

Mom and Dad took me to graduation. It was exciting to think about Dad graduating in two years. All the parents took their kids on the stage when they got their diplomas...I can't wait to walk across the stage with Dad! It was sad saying goodbye to some of our really good friends though. We certainly will miss Isaac, Camille, Lisa, and Claire, but we were glad to be able to celebrate with them. I got a little restless at the post-grad dinner, but I slept just long enough for Mom and Dad to eat with their friends.

This past weekend we had a visit from Mark and Moriah. We had such a fun time with, going to Jerusalem, spending time with them, and showing them around B7. Mom and Dad are hoping to plan a trip for us to visit them in Belgium sometime this year!

And, as usual, I am sleeping like a champ! (Last night I went 9.5 hours!!)

Happy Birthday, Simon!
Happy Birthday, Miss Laurel!

Happy Mother's Day, Mom!

Judson: Four Months!

I'm four months! Mom can hardly believe it...but, it's true. I did lots of growing in this past month (I'm pretty good at that whole growing thing!) I'm a great sleeper for the most part. Mom and Dad usually put me to bed around 8:30 and mom gets me up and feeds me one last time before she goes to bed. After that, I wake up around 3:00 to eat again, and then again at 7:30. Sometimes I'll even go back to sleep at 7:30 and sleep until almost 10:00! I like my sleep...and I sleep hard:) I also went to the beach for the first time! We had a great time, but I wasn't a huge fan of the ocean...it was a bit too cold for my taste.

My next doctor's appointment isn't until next week so we aren't sure exactly how much I weigh these days, but according to our scale at home, I am somewhere in the 18 pounds range. If this is true, I've almost tripled my birth weight! Tummy time is really fun now that I can hold my head pretty easily, and now I can roll from my back to my front. Playing with my toys is fun too now that I can hang onto them! Mom and I are getting into a nice little routine with laundry, groceries, and whatnot. I like being in my stroller, and I am certainly a social guy. I like to talk loud just to make sure everyone hears me:)

We sure can't wait to get back to the States and see all our friends and family!
