This is the last post I will have to put up without Kate! She lands in a few hours, and I'm pretty pumped up about it.
Diabetes is The Price Vietnam Pays for Progress- An interesting NYT article on the development of Vietnam, and the new and different challenges faced by a health system as a country develops. Not that I think Vietnam would want to return, but still an interesting read.
The Jagged Void- I've always appreciated John Piper's Poetry. This poem is a reflection on the grief mothers faced after the OK tornadoes.
Keep Calm and Pray for Lecrae- Lecrae was on the set of 106 and Park a week or so ago. It's brought about an interesting discussion on the role of Christians in mainstream artforms like hip-hop. This author makes some great points in dealing with critics of Lecrae.

What Does Mars Hill Church Believe About Tithing?- A great piece, especially the quote, "like everything else in the new covenant, our grace giving is to exceed Old Testament requirements of the law. "
(Motion) Picture of The Week- So, in a new twist, this week picture is a motion picture, the title links to a video. The second years at MSIH finished their last final this week, so we had a barbecue before they all left town. The video involves a water balloon fight and slow motion. I think it's worth the three minutes, but since I was involved, I spend the whole time laughing anyways. Click the link above to watch.
