A Week in Review (Pilot)

Here are a few of the blogs, sites and/or articles that we have been encouraged by or interested in this week, as well as our picture of the week!

The Radical Nature of A Quiet Life -This article was a big encouragement to us, and we hope it will be to you as well.

MSIH First Year Blog-This is a blog done by first years in the Medical School for International Health. Many of Nathan's classmates are talented writers, so check this out and enjoy! It will continue to be updated through the end of June before the new class takes over in July. (P.S. We did some blogging in  February, in case you missed it)

When Doctors Grieve- The author of this piece taught part of the Oncology course Nathan was in this week. She has done a fascinating study on the stigma attached by Oncologists to expressing or feeling grief over the loss of one of their patients.

Picture of the Week
-We had a prospective student stay with us a little while back, and had a great time showing him around Be'er Sheva and explaining the program to him. He only stayed one night and the next day we took him to the bus station where he graciously bought our lunch. Our favorite part about this photo? Falafel crumbs in the beard.
